Good evening room 10 families, We have a short, but jam packed month coming up! This week we will begin to review division and its relationship to multiplication. Then we will move in to developing for multiplying and dividing double digit numbers. Our writing will shift from narrative story writing to persuasive writing and we will continue working on developing our editing skills. In Social Studies we are learning about Alberta's rich historical past and we are excited to begin building our own Fur Trapper Fort. Health will continue to focus on improving our understanding of the impacts of bullying and we are excited to present our short stick puppet plays around the school to help others learn to be kind and inclusive. Field study permission forms will be coming home for our trip to the Leighton Centre on March 18th. Thank you to those families that have gone above and beyond to fulfill their volunteer commitments so far this year. We only require two more volunteer
Happy Monday everyone! We have report cards coming home today, everyone is excited to see how they did so don't be surprised if they're opened before they get home. We do ask them to wait, but ... Please return the envelopes to help the school save on supplies. I am sending home the kids Social Studies duo-tang. They have a check list for their project that they are working on in Google Docs. We have has a substantial amount of time to research and gather the information and to enter it in our docs. I cannot dedicate any more class time to complete this work. I would appreciate it if you could speak to your children about using their class time wisely. - Students who are building the cube will be given the cube templates and the printed information to cut and paste tomorrow. All projects are due by Thursday. Field Study forms for our next trip are also coming home today. We need 4 volunteers for our trip to the Glenbow Museum on February 5th. **Edit - sorry this was
